Medical Assistant

Rapidly growing Dermatology Clinic is looking for an exceptional Registered/Certified Medical Assistant. This is a full time Monday – Friday (40 hrs) position. Our MAs must be committed to providing unequaled Patient Care; must have a “Whatever It Takes” work ethic; must be able to multitask and keep up with a fast paced and demanding work environment; and must understand that while individual excellence is expected, they will work as an integral part of our Patient Care team alongside other MAs and our Providers. Histotech

Rapidly growing Dermatology Clinic looking for an exceptional experienced Histotechnologist (minimum of two years of experience) for our pathology lab. This is a full time Monday – Friday (40 hrs) position. You must be committed to providing unequaled Patient Care; must have a “Whatever It Takes” work ethic; must be able to multitask and keep up with a fast paced and demanding work environment.

The Histotechnologist is responsible for processing all specimens received in the pathology lab under minimal supervision. This position requires independent judgment in selection of methodologies utilized in processing specimens and in solving non-routine problems. The Histotechnologist receives all histology specimens and processes them using various methodologies, complex machinery and staining systems. The Histotechnologist then prepares the slides for Dermatopathology review by cutting prepared blocks of tissue utilizing complex machinery. Histotechnologists are responsible for appropriately staining the slides with both routine and special stains. Throughout this process, the Histotechnologist is responsible for labeling, entering and tracking the progress of the specimen until it reaches the Dermatopathologist for review.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, chemistry, biological sciences or in a related field AND 2 years of experience as a Histologist.
Valid certificate or eligible for certification by the ASCP is required. If only eligible, must become certified within first year of employment.
