So here’s another daily tip from your friendly local dermatologist!

So you all know that I like Whole Foods, not processed foods, not a lot of sugary foods, not a lot of inflammatory foods. So let’s talk about one of my favorite desserts and that’s dark chocolate. I love dark chocolate because it has a lot of good antioxidants in it and it tastes delicious. Now don’t overdo it and please realize that some people with rosacea or acne, they tend to react to chocolate sometimes, so if that’s you, back off. But if it’s not you please eat it in moderation as a treat or a special occasion. Please be careful though that sometimes the chocolates that we consume have a lot of heavy metals in them. So you need to make sure that you’re not over consuming this because there are a lot of sugars in chocolate, But please also make sure that you’re not getting too many heavy metals from the chocolate that you consume.

Because Dermatologists treat more than just skin cancer!
