So here’s another daily tip from your friendly local dermatologist!

Okay, so let’s say prom is coming up or your wedding is coming up or something huge is coming up and you just get the hunkers zit of all zits, and you’re thinking oh my gosh I can’t do this event like this. If that happens, call your local dermatologist. We can do things that can help speed that healing up, so you don’t have a big honker there for everybody is stare at for your huge event. Now what we do, oftentimes, is give you a injectable steroid. Now there are some risks with that. So, please talk to your local dermatologist. And we can’t do this all the time, this is like once every 5-10 years type of thing when you have a huge life event that’s happening and you’re breaking out. Next thing is guys, please don’t come in to your dermatologist two weeks before, you know, you graduate or prom or something like this and have had bad acne or acne that needs to be treated. You’ve had it for years and you come in and you say hey Reagan, I need this all fixed by next weekend. Acne takes six weeks of continuous treatment, with a compliant patient, before we have any realistic shot of getting good control over it. So please let’s plan things out, in all things in life. If you don’t know where you’re going, you’re not gonna get there and you get what you tolerate. So if you come into the clinic and say hey, I need this fixed in two weeks. It’s been a problem for years. What you’re gonna get is us saying gosh, our hands are a little tied. However, if your acne is mostly controlled and you get a big honker and you have a major life event coming, please talk to your local dermatologist. We can help!

Please take a look at your skin today and contact your Dermatologist if you see anything new, changing, or growing.
