Well, it has been another week of abdominal surgery for me. I am so grateful for the amazing care that UCHealth gave me. What was really impressive is that almost every single person with whom I had contact, from the CT Tech to the Surgeon, took an individual effort to get to know me and tell me a little about themselves. Their loving care was truly a blessing.
Their example helped remind me of why I got into medicine – to take care of others and an important part of this is being human to each other. Food for thought.
