So here’s another daily tip from your friendly local dermatologist!
Celery is an amazing thing and you’ve probably heard of the latest celery craze, which is people juicing celery and getting health benefits. Now they tout that the health benefits from juicing celery are all sorts of things, from increased energy to even increase testosterone levels in your body, to overall feeling healthy and vibrant. Now, I don’t know if all those are true, but they have been true in me. I’ve been doing this for about a year now and every morning I get up and I juice a bunch of celery. Now please, if you’re gonna do this get the organic celery because celery is one of the top 15 dirty vegetables that the environmental working group puts out every year, because they tend to have a lot of pesticides and herbicides and other things in them. So please, if you’re gonna do celery, get the organic version and I juice it every morning with a half a cucumber and now the cucumbers, honestly, it’s a little bit to cut the taste but there’s lots of good things in cucumbers as well like chromium and antioxidants and they’re, they’re great. But I consume that every morning and then I don’t drink anything else for about half an hour. I let it soak in. My energy levels have been through the roof. I think my skin looks better and overall I feel more vibrant and alive. Now, give it a shot for yourself. See what it does for you, but in all of these things that we talked about when it comes to nutrition please keep a food journal so that you can see that when you add something in, if after a week or two you notice any differences either positive or negative, and if you do then please be smart about this stuff. Please talk to your local primary care physician. Ask them if there’s any problem with you consuming excesses of any type of food because remember guys, food is a drug and you need to be careful with what you consume.
