So here’s another daily tip from your friendly local dermatologist!

Alright, antioxidants, we know that they’re very important because all day long were living in an oxidative rich environment and that destroys things. Those free radicals that go into your cells and destroy DNA and destroy cells and cause wrinkles and cause all that stuff, we need to help our bodies combat that as much as possible. So one of the things I do in my daily routine is I have just a little bit of coffee. Not so much that I’m jittery, not so much that I’m reliant upon it, but just enough to get some of those anti-inflammatory properties, and if you want a bonus tip, try putting some cinnamon in it, because cinnamon has some amazing antioxidant properties. Now you may or may not know that there’s a lot of different types of cinnamon, but there’s really only one real type of cinnamon. So do a search on the internet and you can figure out where to get true cinnamon, rather than the cinnamon that’s mostly marketed in the health food stores or in the grocery stores. It’s about 25 to 30 percent more expensive, but the taste is amazing, and the antioxidant qualities that you’re going to get from it, well, they’re going to add.
