All right, so it’s ski season in Colorado, and here’s another tip from your local dermatologist.
All the time when I’m out on the ski slopes, I see people that are beet red. Guys, please remember, that when you’re out on the snow, or you’re out on the water, you’re getting double the dose of sun. Because not only is the sun coming down and hitting you, it’s also reflecting off the ground, especially snow and water. So you’re getting double the dose. They make great sun protective clothing, that you can wear that basically only leaves this available for skiing and then your, your goggles protect that. And there are great other sun protective clothing that you can use when you’re on the water. Please reapply your sunscreen every two hours, and please enjoy yourself.
