Kimberly Carlson, PA-C, completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. After a few years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in Dermatology, Ear Nose and Throat, and Pediatrics, she continued her education and earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Bryant University in Rhode Island. She then relocated with her husband to Colorado Springs where she has served the community here as a Physician Assistant since 2020.
Growing up as a competitive swimmer in Florida, the importance of sun protection was engrained at a young age. She is passionate about educating patients about skin cancer prevention to allow them to still enjoy the beauty of the outdoors here in Colorado. When she’s not at work, she enjoys cooking, camping, skiing, and hiking with her husband and golden retriever.
