Lea, Physician Assistant – Certified
Lea is a Board Certified Physician Assistant with eleven years of experience; nine of those years she has spent in general and aesthetic dermatology. She graduated with honors from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in 2002. She chose to work in the medical field for two years as a Certified Nurse’s Aide and Medical Assistant to gain clinical experience prior to starting Physician Assistant school in 2004. She graduated top of her class at Duke University Physician Assistant program in 2006 with a Master of Science.
She was awarded the prestigious Phi Alpha Honors Society Award for exceptional scholastic performance. Lea truly loves being a Physician Assistant and she takes great pride in her chosen career. She works hard to make every patient visit an exceptional experience. She believes in spending the time with patients to educate them about their disease process. She is compassionate, warm, and empathetic.
When Lea is not working, she enjoys outdoor activities including running, hiking, camping, fishing, boating, snowshoeing, and snowboarding. She also enjoys reading, particularly anything related to health and wellness. She also spends as much time as possible with family and friends.
