I had people in my life who were constantly looking for what is bad in life, what is wrong, and creating drama to validate their existence. The key word in the prior sentence is “had”. I refuse to surround myself with people who need drama in their life and have a doom and gloom outlook in life. I have never understood this mentality and to this day I still don’t. I choose to spend my time with people who are uplifting, positive, and live with the mentality of the glass is half full. I want to spend my valuable time with people who are lifting me up instead of bringing me down. Remember, you become the average of the five people you spend the most time with. Spend your valuable time with the people you want to become.
As challenges present themselves to you, tackle them with a good attitude and outlook and it will make the challenge more enjoyable once you overcome them. If you are putting self-inflicting obstacles and thoughts in front of your challenges it will make the process very frustrating, and your outcome will not be the best desired outcome.
As the picture above shows, don’t create rain storms and a doom and gloom outlook when this life is filled with amazing opportunities. Close your umbrella when it is not raining (unless you are protecting yourself from the sun😊) and enjoy this beautiful gift of life we were given and make the most of it and live life to the fullest! We only have one life to live and we might as well maximize our time with looking for the best in things.
