We have a lot going on in our home! Madelline got her driver’s license, Alex got his permit (both on the same day last Saturday, YIKES!) and we have a lot of home improvement projects going on. Needless to say we are constantly on the go, go, go just like everyone else. Well Wednesday evening we decided we needed to slow down for a moment and enjoy what is right in front of us. So Angie, Alex, and I decided to go for a walk to the local high school, and found a spot to watch the sunset. It was beautiful, peaceful, and just what we needed. We recognized we needed to take a moment to ourselves and enjoy this beautiful scenery that surrounds us each day. This was the first sunset Alex ever watched! As the sun was setting, none of us said a word and we just enjoyed the beauty of watching the sun fall behind the mountains and light up our amazing Colorado sky.
